An Innovative EMG Based Sign Language to Voice Converter

Kapil Lohia with his two friends made the project in the final year of his Engineering. The concept behind the project to develop a system which is capable to produce various distinguishable sounds corresponding to various distinguishable hand gestures. These sounds are the words used in our daily life viz. "Hi", "How are you" etc. Any Sign Language mechanism can be used to get different hand gestures. Here we used British & American Sign Language mechanism. The idea is also supported by IBM's recent work "SiSi".  He is thankful to all the Faculties, Friends and Staff Members who helped a lot in the completion of the project.
